Only one and a half weeks left before my current work contract ends. After that I’ll be home taking care of Sofia until the end of summer, which is probably tougher than I imagine now, but we’ll see. 😀
It’s been quiet on the band front with Juho being in the army, me being uninspired to write more songs/lyrics and the lack of practice sessions, but this is likely to change when I’m home all alone with Sofia. I might end up playing guitar for her all day long, who knows. 😉 I’ve already got some creative juices flowing in me, and I’m trying to create some inspirational feedloop project outside of Mercalli XII that’ll help me get back into composing, since I feel like that last 3-4 years I’ve been working full-time in audio has drained some interest in composing my own music. I’m also a lot more knowledgeable now, so who knows how good I might be if I manage to dust off my composing chops.
Change is afoot. It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out. Life can be such a jump into a void sometimes.
And in case you’re wondering about the title: “Management by perkele is originally a Swedish expression for a Finnish leadership approach that, according to its proponents, takes required actions in a quick and swift way, instead of a prolonged pondering of all possible alternative approaches and points of view before actually getting anything done.” – Wikipedia
